The more we know in advance – types of pieces, rough quantity, photos – the better we can prepare. None of it is mandatory.
Appointment with you
We come to your home or meet at a safe place in the Basel region. Free and without obligation.
You choose the place and time. At home, at the office, at a notary or in a bank branch – as long as you feel comfortable. The appointment usually takes 20 to 45 minutes.
Testing & offer
We check fineness, weight and condition in front of you and name a transparent price at the daily rate right away.
Every test happens in front of you: reading hallmarks, weighing, testing fineness. We explain what we do and show you the rate we calculate with.
Paid on the spot
Say yes and you receive the amount in cash, with a written purchase receipt. No waiting.
You receive the full amount in cash and a receipt with date, weight, fineness and price. Nothing is withheld, there is no processing fee.
Just an ID
For the purchase we need a valid official ID (identity card or passport) of the selling person, who must be of legal age. You receive a written purchase receipt – good for your records and as proof of provenance.

Basel-Stadt and Baselland: Binningen, Bottmingen, Allschwil, Reinach, Muttenz, Münchenstein, Oberwil, Therwil, Pratteln, Liestal and around. Longer distances and estates outside the region gladly on request.
